What Are Porn Movies Like?

porn movies like

At first glance, porn films may seem like pure fun and entertainment; but that may not always be the case.

The seductive industry can have its darker sides, as evidenced in this true account of porn star Linda Boreman’s career arc. While initially appearing humorous, the film soon devolves into horror territory.

Deep Throat

Deep Throat was released as an „adult chic” movie in 1972 at a time when pornography was strictly illegal and taboo, sparking a social revolution. The plot revolved around a woman who found that her clitoris lay within her throat, forcing her to engage in oral sex on male participants (deep throating) in order to achieve orgasm – a practice known today. Tawdry but innovative, it marked its premiere screening in San Antonio before prompting multiple trials relating to obscenity or criminality charges being brought forward against its producers and directors.

The filmmakers’ documentary explores not only the controversial film but its unexpected long-term cultural ramifications as well. It examines its influence in terms of sexual liberation, equality and questioning authority – such as Linda Lovelace of Deep Throat fame being interviewed; along with Harry Reems who was later charged with obscenity due to his role in it before falling into alcoholism as a result; furthermore it features commentators such as Dick Cavett, Helen Gurley Brown Norman Mailer Gore Vidal and Erica Jong among many others.

Deep Throat was different than other films of its era in that it featured an irreverent yet irresponsible tone, designed to empower women and serve as an alternative to public school sex classes which many women found boring. Furthermore, Deep Throat showed people it was acceptable for orgasms to occur outside of bedrooms – new knowledge at that time.

Deep throating can be an intensely intimate and satisfying experience for both parties involved. The soft velvety throat feels amazing against the tip of a penis; other techniques (including penetration ) may be used alongside this act for increased intensity. Prior to engaging in any act like this one it is wise to consult your partner on all details so both individuals are completely at ease with what will transpire and fully comprehend what will occur.

Before beginning this technique, it is wise to consult a doctor. Mouth-to-mouth sex may lead to serious health risks if done incorrectly; herpes and chlamydia infections can spread by this means and lead to ongoing health concerns and fertility problems in addition to risks of throat cancer.

Eyes of Desire

In this erotic tale, photographer Lisa comes to her friend’s hilltop home to reflect upon her life and career. But soon her stay is interrupted by an inexplicable sense of attraction towards the couple in the house opposite; upon spying their intimate romance through her telescope she becomes deeply intrigued with them and aroused by their affair.

Candida Royale has an unparalleled talent for crafting female-driven erotica, and Eyes of Desire showcases that mastery. While Eyes of Desire features some on-camera sexual content, Royale keeps things subdued with foreplay, no cumshots and focus on softcore camera angles. Plus! the movie was shot concurrently with another one featuring all new femmes!

Though Rear Window may come to mind immediately when watching this film, Rear Window remains an impressive tale of voyeurism and submission.

Cry Wolf

This low-budget British werewolf flick may seem like it is designed for Carry On fans, but its plot is much deeper and complex than anticipated. From pub comedy and Brookside pacing to gratuitous breasts, and even some gore effects and CGI elements. Andy Davie, Michael Dale and director Tony Jopia wrote the script but it lacked depth; its unnecessary backstories and vignettes marred what might otherwise have been an intriguing film – yet its dailies show promise and technical proficiency.

Story centers around a werewolf pack who take up residence in a rural village, led by Milly (played by Gabriela Hersham). Milly proves a formidable force, unleashing havoc amongst the local men while targeting an innocent young woman for predation by the pack.

The movie may be campy and silly, but it’s well told and has an outstanding cast. It is definitely worth seeing for those interested in werewolves and 1970s-era exploitation films; what it lacks however, is some Kermit the Frog laughter!

Compulsion

A mysterious, quirky film about an author experiencing visions while on writing vacation in Italy. Her visions lead her to a villa where she meets erotic novelist Alex, with colorful sets, hunting music and sexual scenes galore; yet its plot remains difficult to decipher – making the entire ninety minutes an artsy pretentious borefest.
