Are Porn Movies Making You More Vulnerable to Sex-Related Problems?

If you’re in the mood for some sinful fun, watching porn films may tempt you – but could these films actually increase your risk for sexual-related problems?

Studies suggest that viewing sexual videos could change the way your brain operates and even lead to patterns similar to those found among individuals who suffer from compulsive sexual behavior or drug dependency.

The Chameleons

John Leslie’s 1989 video The Chameleons has been reimagined into this unique cinematic experience featuring two people with the power to change their physical appearance on demand to meet their sexual desires. A unique take on „Body Snatchers”, it provides Leslie with an interesting challenge for filmmaking; additionally, The Chameleons boasts an exceptional sound track, rare in its genre.

David Heid was an established composer working closely with Leslie on many films, but The Chameleons stands out as an outstanding work of his. His piano and keyboard melodies blend atmospheric synths with jazz scorchers with more than a hint of lounge music – led by Walt Szymanski II on trumpet/flugelhorn and Scott „E Dog” Peterson on tenor/baritone sax respectively; Randy Gelispie and Johnathan Knust contributed drums while Misty Love provided vocals; while Kurt Krahnke stood out as being one of his signature instruments resonant bass/leaves behind.

Heid’s band is quite impressive, with Szymanski providing some of the best trumpet leads on „Chameleons” which veers towards Latin jazz with sparse Spanish vocalizations from sax players. Additionally, „Celebrating the Chakras” brings more classical influence with soaring woodwind solos and symphonic percussion reminiscent of Heid’s music for Catwoman; then on „Goodbye Ernie”, where Heid switches gears to synthesizer tones reminiscent of later Catwoman soundtracks.

The Chameleons is an intriguing and entertaining movie, but not without some flaws. Most notably is its unsatisfying ending which raises many unanswered questions regarding what happened and why.

Although its ending remains uncertain, Leslie’s most genre-inspired film to date remains one of his finest performances as director, while Gere shines particularly bright in an ensemble cast that delivers fantastic performances that perfectly encapsulates its unconventional narrative. Additionally, their chemistry together is truly one of Leslie’s strongest yet in his career.

Night Trips 2

Night Trips 2 is an entertaining yet not overly cheesecake journey into Tori Welles’ subconscious mind, using a high-tech Mindscan Imager and producing one sizzling erotic fantasy after another that delight Tori’s boyfriend and doctor. Unfortunately, however, Night Trips 2 fails to achieve its potential by not providing enough chemistry between characters; ultimately this stems from inattention to detail which prevents this sequel from being as enjoyable and non-gendered as intended.

After all, it’s a film made in America where stars come and go while the budget remains limited; thus creating an uninspiring viewing experience with only occasional chuckles from its stars and comedians. Yet somehow it remains popular today; audiences should definitely give this classic another watch!

The Masseuse

At first glance, The Masseuse may appear to be a straightforward tale about a massage parlor; however, there’s more going on behind the scenes of this film than meets the eye.

This provocative film follows three female vampires as they lure men into their lair with promises of an exciting bloody good time. A human male is sent out to assist the ladies – only he finds out far more than expected!

Customer satisfaction is of utmost importance in James’s business of making women kiss. With client requests rising rapidly, he enlists his amateur buddies’ assistance to manage his client overflow.

This film boasts an abundance of well-dressed pornstars with all of the right moves to keep viewers entertained from start to finish, including one of the sexiest massages you will ever witness – no mean feat for an adult-rated film!

It has its flaws, but still offers an enjoyable viewing experience worth the ticket price. I particularly remember its climax as one of few porn films to actually leave me feeling better after viewing – something which many other viewers likely felt too!

Zazel

Philip Mond’s Zazel marks the first adult film since Night Trips 1 and 2 (1990) that can be enjoyed equally by both genders, featuring Penthouse Pets Sasha Vinni and Gina LaMarca from Penthouse Pets as well as actress Lene Hefner in exotic locales and costumes.

Sasha Vinni plays Zazel, an internationally acclaimed artist who is charged with creating the most seductive perfume ever. To do this, she paints pictures, views photographs, and wanders among flowers, each experience helping her envision an irresistibly passionate sexual fantasy that forms her artistic masterpiece.

Zazel journeys deep into her darkest fantasies as she encounters creatures ranging from sirens and water nymphs, flowers, the jungle, The Three Musketeers movies from Hollywood classics as well as angels and demons – each scene creatively erotic yet never overtly sexual.

Many of the sequences feature fetishistic camera placement and editing trickery to give an illusionistic effect, such as when Sasha Vinni emerges from a pond dressed as the Blue Siren, her nude body painted bright blue with multiple arms gesticulating behind her like she were an Avatar of Vishnu from Hindu mythology.

Another sequence features her airbrushing a flower and creating visual puns as its petals move and contract, before cunnilingus on Grace Harlow, also known as the Water Nymph.

Zazel uses her artistic imagination and talent to craft an intense, sexually intense film that should have become an instant classic. However, unlike most porn films it tackles themes beyond simple pornographic content such as sexual frustration, inadequacy and betrayal that are worth exploring further.
